If you regard science as so evil - how are you posting here? Better get rid of that demonic device that gives you access to the internet and that back to medieval times, yay!
3
You don't even know that CERN isn't a company... 🤦♂
3
That's just plain nonsense.

Foundational research doesn't always has a fixed goal. Example: Who would have thought of a Smartphone when electricity was discovered? Nevertheless - CERN already has helped improving medical imaging and radiotherapy. They developed the most important subnet of the internet. Their research also lead to advances in robotics. As they are operating similar to a university they helped educating countless physicists and other scientists.

You don't understand what they do, so you fear it, and therefore oppose it and ultimately hate it - including inventing nonsense or at least parroting some made up tales you heard somewhere. What you call "sick people" are top notch scientists from all over Europe and also from other parts of the worlds. And they don't all sit underground, just because the LHC is underground. The rest is all in buildings that are above ground, just the particle accelerator is in a tunnel. They don't need ventilators (why should they?) and they don't sit underground with no sunlight or fresh air but in normal buildings. There is also a park on the premises. There is nothing "deadly" about the scientific research they do, there are neither "unstable nuclear experiments" nor "radiation tests". The amounts of ionizing radiation produced are miniscule compared to a regular nuclear power plant. "God particle" is a silly nickname invented by publisher in order to sell a book. It has nothing to do with god or religion and it isn't and never was a name used by scientists. Nothing about a particle accelerator could be weaponized and in case you didn't know: particle accelerators are not only found at CERN. You can find some in every hospital... And nope - they cannot ruin the planet. The worst thing that could happen in case of a really big malfunction or accident would be the particle accelerator getting heavily damaged or destroyed. No explosion, no radiation, just a damaged machine. How is that a danger to the planet?! By the way: the part of the internet that is called the world wide web - yes, that part you used to write your silly post - was developed at CERN...

wtf 🤦♂
2
Nope, it isn't.
2
Particle physics research is what they're doing.
1
@joegonzalez6241 I.e. the existence of the Higgs-Boson. Or very recently: that antimatter reacts the same to gravity as "normal" matter. Their research around particle accelerators led to particle accelerators in medical use like the cutting edge proton beam therapy that is more effective against cancer and less harmful to surrounding healthy cells. Etc. etc. etc.

@Countryballs_Animation_Studios Thank you!
1
I will let these people in on a little secret: You're postimg nonsense.
1
They didn't.
1
Prove it.
1
@Xyzpklmm So you have no proof - just as I thought.
1
Which has nothing to do with this as CERN isn't anything malicious. It's a european multi-national science organisation for peaceful research, with students and aspiring scientists from all over the world visiting them to learn, study and research - mainly, but not exclusively, in the field of particle physics. Their projects, the data they measured and scientific findings are all freely accessible for anyone and the premises can be visited in guided tours.

Wtf 🤦♂

wtf
1
Nonsense.
1
@Randze If you mean that if someone believes one nonsensical cons....cy myth he rather sooner than later believes all of them - yes, in that way it's all connected.
1
You obviously overdosed on your ruzzian copium...
1
Nope.
1
No, that's nonsense.
1
@ImadSn-lu8mx Investing some minutes here and there to counter absurd stories about CERN. Where's the problem with that?
1
@ImadSn-lu8mx Last time I checked I was... And 15-30 mins, spread throughout the day when I have a few minutes to spend, isn't really that much. The posts accumulate over time.
1
They are not "trying to be god". The "lack [of] knowledge and understanding" is on your side.
1
If science scares you so much - what occult device are you using to access this demonic internet? And why do you have such an evil device and use it for this satanic purpose of accessing the luciferian "internet"?
1
Forgot to take your pills again?

I will never understand how people believe every nonsense they read on the net as long as it fits their perception of the world without even spending one minute to actually look what it really is. And then they go and declare their own absurd speculations as facts. CERN didn't "mock religious entities", all they did was accepting the gift of a shiva statue from India. It was gifted to them to thank for a long cooperation in scientific research. And you never spend a minute searching where the term "god particle" comes from, right? Because if you had you would know that the researchers jokingly called it the "goddxxn particle" (<yt) because it was so hard to detect. Since the publisher of the book about this research didn't want to have something like that as the title of a book he just shortened it to "the god particle" in order to get some sensationalism for the new book. That's it.
1
😂🤣
1
Or perhaps just the fact that it is a symbol of indian hinduism faith that was gifted to CERN from India because of many years of cooperation? But hey, that's not mysterious enough for some tinfoil hat internet horror story, right?
1
No he didn't. But there was a quote from him that was complely taken out of context. In fact Hawkins was a strong proponent for CERN.
1
Get well soon.
1
Particle physics science.
1
What a nonsense. The logo shows CERNs particle accelerators schematically from a top-down perspective. If it were three sixes there would be three circles and three lines - but there are just two circles and five lines...
1
Nothing what they do at CERN has even the slightest potential to "destroy the world". But funny that with nuclear weapons in the hands of deranged dictators, a potential climate catastrophe incoming and other things you think that a civil and successful international institution of peaceful research is a danger.
1
There is nothing like a "Mandela effect".
1
Why?
1
What a nonsense...
1
And that's a lie. All the data is open access for everyone through their webpage.
1
There's nothing dangerous about particle colliders.
1
There is no "firmament".
1
That's pure nonsense as something like that isn't even possible.
1
*scientific

@MarryBauer 🤡

How many crayons did you eat today?
