Miki Seius Shame? The only thing we got shame about when it comes to Finland is leaving them fighting the Soviets alone. Oh and not liberating them during ww1.

Alex BS the idea of superiority of that kind doesn't exist until atleast 50 years after Finland was lost to Sweden and the tornedalian Finns who ended up on the Swedish side of the border have never been targeted the way that the sami for an example were. Swedes were never seen as superior the nobles who granted were Swedes saw themselves as superior to all peasants. But a peasent was a peasent. Just as Swedes were settled in Finnland so were Finns settled in Sweden. Usually in the warf industry since the Finns were considered great woodworkers.

Alex we wanted to join in ww1. But Norway said that if we attacked Russia they'd attack us. In ww2 we sent loads of volunteers.

The Obelisk the EU have no reason to leave NATO at the moment. As for aligning ourselves with China? Hardly the EU are already more powerful than China. China may try to align itself with us and if that happens well talk about it.

Do a Finland geopolitics one!

The Obelisk the EU are tired of playing second fiddle to the US yes but that doesn't nessecerily mean dissolving NATO or getting cozy with China. China's growth has been slowing for more than a decade, India is a much more likely eastern partner. And the point of having a joint EU army and foreign policy is not to replace NATO but to carry more weight inside of it.

The Obelisk I'm sure China would like a friend but the EU is not as much about projecting it's power across the globe as the US are. We've already done that and it didn't end that well. We won't be picking up dictatorships as close friends just to get influence. And again the rivaling the US is about being an equal partner not about breaking down the transatlstnic cooperation. It has served us both well. The US are currently the ones pushing for the end of that partnership.
2
You neglected to mention the increased military cooperation in the EU. With the US lessening its NATO commitment the European branch of NATO as well as defence cooperation in the EU may morph into a separate military alliance.

If they did we'd join almost instantly.

The Obelisk on the contrary we could not become a rival to the US in power without continuing the partnership. Or well we could but the transatlantic partnership is the axis on which western civilisation turns. We could eclipse the US without it yes but only because we'd both collapse utterly. And no the EU is no worse at holding people accountable than any other country. Far better than most countries of the same magnitude and wealth like say the US.

Sweden increasing its military spending actually make conflict less likely. Since it decreases the chances of either side deciding to opportunistically just take Gotland.

B S Sweden get an offensive nuclear capability would be a terrible mistake it would give Russia the excuse they needed to invade us. And not really offer us any advantage since if we use nukesnso do Russia and we lose.
