@bapo224 no the same did not happen in Crimea. Crimea led to a massive trade embargo on Russia also the west is shipping loads and loads of war materials essentially for free to Ukraine. We're essentially waging a proxy war in Ukraine.

China aren't as strong as they think they are. They can play at strength because the truly powerful are reluctant to antagonize them, but xi is playing in his own back yard like Hitler was when he invaded Czechoslovakia, make no mistake or does not make him capable of conquering the world. The US is a lot better prepared today than they were in 1939 and yet even in ww2 they did win.

NATO is the north Atlantic treaty organisation of course it is more active in the north Atlantic and it's connected sea the Baltic. This region was supposed to be protected by SEATO. The South East Asia treaty organisation. But it failed a long time ago.

@eksclips3831 The US can easily defend the Philippines. A US carrier battle group can take on most countries entire navies. And the US have ten of them and building an 11th. NATO could take on the entire rest of the world simultaneously and would atleast on paper come out victorious. The U.S. alone spends more than a quarter of the total global defence spending. I'm sorry but the United States overspends so incredulously much on its military that it is beyond comprehension, but the result is that there is no one power or coalition of powers that could ever win a war against them. Their defence spending is the result of rampant paranoia, but for the moment it makes them invulnerable.

Who cares? What's China going to do attack the U.S? There are two options there. Either China use nukes and everyone loses or China does not use nukes and China loses. Either way china loses.

Actually no the Sea countries where along fairly well. Most of them have internal problems however.

Strong words for a country that would have been conquered by the Japanese of not for us intervention. And I'm talking about the trade blocked on japan not about the active participation of the us in the war.
