  1. I think Sam and his mate(I forget his name), got it wrong on this one. Seems like they're siding with Affleck on a similar basis to why he was so opposed to their perspective, and why others agree with him.. You've failed to understand the basis of Maher and Harris' opinion. There is no real bigotry involved here. It's about the basic tenets of the doctrine and what it requires of those who follow it.  Interesting that Sam's friend is so surprised by the applause of Maher's audience. They are probably applauding, dude, because they understand that when Affleck speaks he speaks with good intentions, he's right about many of those "good" Muslims, but then many of those "good" Muslims are women who don't really have a choice, or even just people who live in non-secular countries so they do not have a choice but to go along. But Maher and Harris are also correct about how poisonous the doctrine of Islam actually is. The fact many of these people don't really have a choice is the perfect example of that.
