  4. This conversation was pretty poor. I think at one point the caller made a point he thought was in his favour but if Sam Harris was there he would turn that around. I think it was something along the lines of; "they also get their values from religion."

  6. +Joel Fisher Disagree. I doubt you have much knowledge of his views of fiscal policy, most of what you are basing that assumption on are because his views on Islam result in a similar foreign policy to Neo-Cons, whose basis for such policy is not anywhere near the same as Sam Harris'.

  7. Joel Fisher Yeah, but simply sharing one policy, foreign policy in the middle east, is not the same as having the same overall political ideology. "Neo-Conservative" is an overall political ideology.  I've heard much of what Sedar has to say about this, I've also heard Harris' views on torture. I follow Harris' reasoning, but think his conclusions stink.
