White Americans SHOULD be called European Americans though. The first descriptor describes the place of ethnic origin, the second describes the place of nationality. It's pretty simple.

@tsubadaikhan6332 That's not that odd. Catholicism is an invading force in Ireland.

This is a dumb comment, in my opinion. The reason he did this video is because it barely makes any sense that Michelin stars are important at all to restaurants and chefs. You have to understand the history provided in this video to understand it, and even then you have to ask why there isn't anything better that they aspire to? Whereas the Guinness book of records is a trivia book that people drinking beer might be interested in, especially if they're drunk enough to start thinking they can break world records.

I'm a kiwi, and I love lamb and mutton. I was surprised, although I probably shouldn't have been, at how much New Zealand was mentioned in this video. Makes me more interested in trying meat from elsewhere.

@AlphosNZ LOL. Go back to school. It's actually geologists and geographers that decide that. How can OCEANIA be a continent? Australia itself is a continent. Oceania is a geographical region. Just as Australasia is a geographical region. Also, I DO live there. LOL

Weird flex but okay.

The answer to the question at 0:22 is yes. In RP you actually do pronounce the 'h' in all those words, and also words like 'what', 'where', 'why', 'white' etc.

I like the diplomacy of calling it Australasian.

I generally agree, but I would say, one benefit of Kitchen Nightmares and even Hotel Hell is that it often shows the incompetence of the petit bourgeois and the competence of proletarians. Shame the defining point is bougie Gordon coming in to save the day. As someone who has worked in hospitality(line cook), I feel I got that attitude from watching Ramsay when I shouldn't have, and others around me hadn't so they probably thought I was a bit too intense sometimes, although that culture of brigade and performance under pressure was still there so perhaps I blended in more than I think now. On the "proper" method and ingredients thing, I like tradition in food culture so I think I like Ramsay' attitude there more than a Chili Jam-ie Oliver. But I think it's fine when you do say "today".

LOL. What? Australia isn't part of Oceania. Australia is a continent. Oceania consists of the islands of the pacific ocean Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.
