But that doesn't mean that some people who are relatively intelligent take it up because of the availability and prevalence of tobacco and genetic predisposition to addiction. If it wasn't nicotine, it would be caffeine, or is caffeine, also. Or it could be something else altogether, but the idea is that these people will develop habits of some kind. As long as these things are tolerable, then I don't see the problem. Someone else slowly killing themselves isn't my concern.
