He wants to know about nationalizing the reserve banks so they are actually accountable to the polities that they exist in.. The difference between nation and state is unimportant in the context of the question. You could use either interchangeably, really.

  5. TBF, the caller didn't mention any of that in his actual question, and what he did hint towards that, it was to distance himself from it, as far as I could tell.. I'm on the left, further left and libertarian than David is, and I knew what the caller meant, and it wasn't about that bullshit. He simply wanted to know what David thought about actually nationalizing reserve banks so that they are actually accountable to the polities they exist in. I think David knew that, as the difference between nation and state is meaningless to the context of the question.. Use either one, it hardly matters. Answer the fucking question.

  7. I think you're projecting onto the caller.. Read his comment in reply to yours.. You'll notice that there's a big difference between advocating for the Fed to disappear and currency creation being left to private forces, and taking the Fed which is already a private force for some unknown reason and nationalizing it so it's not. Why was this not fucking evident to David and all his viewers. This is embarrassing. I hope there's not too many right wingers reading these comments.

Apparently the "Balkan" road plan that David thought the caller was invoking is apparently a rather important thing China is doing that maybe David should know about, and the question he ended up asking was understandable to me, and the difference between nation and state was barely relevant to it. It's like David was dodging the question.
