  2. The question I have is why so many of these RWNJ talkers infested the airwaves, primarily starting in the 90s? One, I do know that some of it came from Rancid Ronnies killing of the fairness doctrine; the year I was born too (87). However, my theory is that the establishment knew that the policies of Neoliberalism would gut the American middle class. And that they needed to keep the ailing middle class distracted with BS to divert their attention from the death by 1000 cuts that was being inflicted on them. (Hence the RW media machine: hate radio, Faux News etc:)
