Prices are high. For local of course. But yea there is plenty of apartments or houses.

How much money do you make per month?

I did not really understand the question. We are two different countries with different economics. Minimal wage here is 157 usd.
2
Average median monthly salary is ~500$ or less. Cheapest apartment would be ~20.000 usd. (It depends on the region you might find something cheaper)
2
65% of people hare live in apartment buildings. Old, new, 5 floors, 10 floors, 20 floors... We do have individual houses as well. And do have suburbs. Almost outside of every city.
2
According to the local government. You can drink it. In really not so much.
2
Most landlords here are not business men. They regular people who inherit or bought an extra apartment. Also people who rent such apartments would not be able to buy new stuff otherwise. When you pay 157$ for the apartment and your monthly income is 350$...

Or in any other thirdwold country. Question is would you like that?
1
@wackyruss Its just a PC term. But we can agree to disagree. Main point is that we both understand what that means. Poverty.

If you can keep your California income it might be not such a bad idea. If you can "digeste" living here ofc.

Soviet apartment are not just soviet apartment. They separated from eachother and usually named after ruler that was in the office during their creation. There are Stalinist buildings. Big luxerious and have 3-4 meters high rooms. This particular building we see in the video is Khrushchevka. Building supposed to be a temporary housing solution but because permanent. They were cheap to build and created with maximum efficiency in mind. They have very small kitchens as you can see.

Who could hire him with knowledge of Swedish language?

@stefannovak1790 You got me curious. Do you have sites with work offers and stuff?

@stefannovak1790 Interesting. Thanks. Well. I have Google translate for that.)
1
@stefannovak1790 Thanks for the offer but I can't drive anything but a bike. Maybe I should learn)

Using other currency is not exactly legal. I mean most of time people rent iligaly to avoid taxes so you can pay in whatever way you want if it is okay with your landlord.

Its a premium brand.
1
Sure. Mandatory 5 kilograms of asbestos.
1
Thats probably true. But you have to find the buyer and drag it across the border.
1
Couches usually turn to bed. In the morning you fold it back. Or dont. PS I am sitting on one right now.
1
@emergencydelirium5505 Sure. But thats what you do when you don't have much space.
1
That's what I found. City authorities claim that tap water in Chelyabinsk is safe to drive. Citezens however do afraid of the water quality. I personally don't drink water from the tap. But I brush my teeth with it. Some people do casually drink it.

Any toy is a sex toy if you brave enough. And there was a toy.
1
@ragingfred I have no idea about western prices. But I guess locally made furniture is cheaper (for you) because labor is cheaper. But not for us. I want to buy a new couch for a while. I found the cheapest option. Its 200 usd.
1
Too bad it is(most likely) from late 1990s
1
I don't see the connection between those things. Ussr had spikes of high birthrates in thouse apartment.
