Yeetle Beetles They say love hurts, and it really can, but you're right, you will get over it eventually. I'm glad you're looking forward
194
To have more impact.. more 'edgy'?
90
Yeetle Beetles How long, and what, did it take for you to get past it?
59
It rather depends on which emotions you're talking of.
53
LoveMe,com We don't know how long ago this started. There are times when it is better to remain silent.
43
Danny Bowen Crying is to secure rescue!? That's the strangest thing I've heard on the subject of crying
23
@jellyjellywowie That's illogical
15
@jellyjellywowie I disagree.
14
@jellyjellywowie You're showing at least yourself, as one woman, to be illogical
11
As there is so much spoken of feminism, and the 'feminist group', i would like very much to see a serious discussion between feminists of earlier years, and those of today (those labelled 'feminazis'). Perhaps we can then all understand a little better what is going on there!?
9
If this 'instigated RAGE' in you.. then i would consider you scary!
9
Alongside that, exchange your chosen gender for the other, and drop the word 'accusations', and all in all you have the human experience
6
The Hyperbole 'If anything, white women.. ' Then you would want to see equality, wouldn't you?
5
The Hyperbole Hijacked from whom?
5
TotallyTaco That she was unfaithful is the most likely scenario I agree, but there are others possible Perhaps the pregnancy occurred during an agreed separation, or she may have been in early pregnancy when she and her husband met?

@gijspinxteren8637 The necessity for divorce is a very sad reality for many, and all that it then entails, is an awful thing for every member of the family concerned. There is no-one 'winning' is such a situation (especially for any of the children) Edit: With regard to the children. It is incumbant upon the parents to make the very best decisions for their continued welfare, and to make such an enormous upheaval as painless and as distress free as possible
4
@gijspinxteren8637 With regard to the courts becoming involved. Each case and judgement is taken on it's own individual merits. The only instances where the actual gender of the parent may be taken into account, is when the age and sex of the child/children is deemed to be of relevance in regard to the adjudged needs of the child concerned
4
@jubbbs You are, to use an old term, a 'hot-head'
4
@charlesriley6618 Crying, in adults, is a means to release emotion, not to illicit aid
4
Chicken!

Fred Potter Am i right in assuming that your father was not left without pain relief due to your actions? In which case, i think a loving father's concern would have been more for you and the reasons for the action you took. I doubt very much that he would have felt anything but love for you. I'm glad that you didn't confess to him so near to his passing away. Have the love for yourself that he would wish for you. And i hope that you no longer have whatever needs and troubles that you were experiencing during that time
3
@charlesriley6618 It isn't difficult to understand. With the exception of the obvious difference in reproductive functions, we can all perform the same actions. What you are referencing are differences in levels for each individual. We are the same basic creature. That's all there is to it.
3
@jellyjellywowie If you say so
3
gucci boujee Not necessarily
3
A person who 'acts'
3
Logic is logic, and emotion is emotion. You cannot use emotions to, solve a logic problem for example. Emotions may come into play afterwards in how you deal with the result. We should all be capable of this combination, it is what being a person is about. I strongly resent the implication that men are unfeeling 'logic' machines.
3
Not every story is an inspiration
3
That you state that, speaks of you.
3
Any 'guy', would be more of a woman, than any number of 'chicks'! Your remark is somewhat bigoted all round.
3
It has to be asked then, why doors would have been made which were too heavy for women to open by themselves??
3
@jubbbs You were apparently also 'infuriated' Do you have multiple definitions for fury too?
3
It is sad and painful, but most of us meet/fall in love with people we lose, before we find the right one. And as Oh Waker says, these were not the right partners for you. You will find them though!
2
FaZe Booce What??
2
Be honest.. did you work that out with your emotions?
2
@owentaber62 Now that seriously messes up all those flyers I've just had printed! Back to the counting board... again!!
2
@calebtesfamariam Well yes, exactly, but a different discussion nonetheless. Quite like the idea of a discussion concerning double standards!
2
gucci boujee Things are rarely that simple. You would need to know and weigh a lot more than the information we have (in this case at least), before you could make such a decision
2
I missed where they gave the test results of testosterone levels.
2
I wish that people would state which emotions they are referencing.
2
@exckla6284 There is so much to being a person, and so much that we can all learn from others, but not if you never listen.
2
The Hyperbole To be honest, the video itself was so long ago now, that i don't actually remember haha! Clearly none of them were particularly memorable for me. The better part has been the ensuing discussions in the comments section (though not the reams and reams on 'door-holding') ;)
2
Jennism Did you ever say or show that you loved her? If you did, then why do you think that the last thing is the one she'd feel the most? I don't know whether she ever said that she hated you, but do you think she really did? Moods pass, you both knew how you really felt. Keep hold of that
2
@DTreatz That's rather down to what you believe 'femininity' to be. It's very convenient for anyone who treats life, and others, as some kind of competition, to be allowed, even encouraged, to simply discount a large group (in this case, women, half the entire population of the planet) out of hand.
2
@DTreatz Remain deluded if you wish. It saddens me to find that anyone would believe in such nonsense. In one breath you talk of 'nature/biology', which i would assume is what you profess to base your thinking on?.. Then in your next breath, you contradict the wisdom of said nature, by suggesting that it would be remiss enough to create a species, half of which (the half responsible for the birth and nurture of it's offspring), are little more than ruinous to said species. You really cannot have it all ways.
2
@lordexplosionmurderdammit4266 With the exception of one point, i don't disagree with anything in your last comment. I would like very much to see an end to all violence. I doubt this ever happening.. but i can dream. The almost dismissive attitude toward male to male violence is horrific, and can only leave it to perpetuate itself. It most certainly needs to be addressed far more seriously. Where i cannot agree with you, is on the view that in the main, perpetrators of violence between the genders are female. This doesn't tie with any trusted information that i have received, or with anything that life has taught me. I don't doubt that the figures for this disgusting type of behaviour have both genders as aggressors, but i do beg to differ in percentages.
2
That's what life is made of.

Niccolo Machiavel Was?
1
Marieanne Grace In what way? Or which bit?
1
@unclethathurts Then you won't see eye to eye with most men either
1
"For example, a human is superior to a lion not because a human is physically stronger, but because through evolution humans have learned to use their intellect rather than brute strength..." and there you have it! Why is it that many men, and some women, have such great difficulty in seeing this very same and equally valid point, when expressed in terms of women/men? Instead, we see this ridiculous and primitive physical strength 'argument' brought out and shouted about ad nauseam!
