Put in earphones, concentrate, and listen to what these people are saying. It is very important in life, that you gather as much information as you can (not simply soak up the first - or loudest opinion that comes your way), in order to reach informed opinion, and to enable yourself to make important/difficult life decisions. You owe this to yourself. Don't allow the opinions or pressure from others to block you from your own discoveries.
