MARKET GARDEN freed a fifth of the Dutch population, hindered German V2 rocket attacks on London, stretched German resources another 50 miles and left the allies well placed to attack the Rhine in the months ahead. The assault on the Scheldt involved British and Canadian forces, not just Canadian forces.

2 mins 40 seconds, the graphics for D-Day are anti British. There should be two British, one Canadian, and two US symbols. Before that, you have only shown a US image moving down the English Channel towards the Normandy coast.

3 mins, 15 seconds. Anti-British. You incorrrectly decribe British ojectives, and then go on to describe US objectives as 'bloddy', thus implying that British forces as having an easier time than the US forces.
1
5 mins, 10 seconds, The Canadians 'America's polite neighbour'. What swaggering American arrogance. Canada had been in the war, on Britain's side, since September 1939, long before the USA eventually joined the war.

Monstrous American arrogance. Why have you totally ignored SWORD Beach?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

9 mins, 45 seconds odd, the Germans never connected the fictitious US Fouth Army Group with the the US General Patton, until long after hey had swallowed the US Fouth Army Group ruse.
1
11mins, the British airborne landings took place BEFORE the US airborne landings.

13 minnutes. STOP. Epsom cannot be considered to have ben a blunder, except by chauvinistic Americans.

14 minutes, a monstrous misrepresentation of the situation in Normandy as it it completely overlooks the fact that the overwhelming bulk of German forces in Normandy were facing British 2nd Army. Further, for the avoidance of doubt, Rommel's car was attacked by RCAF Spitfires...just in case American viewers get it into their heads that this was a USAAF action.

18 mins. Dragod a massive battle?... it was a poitless sideshow.

18 minutes plus. Total rubbish. Churchill never favoured an attack in the Balkans instead of Overlord. On this, the evidence is clear.
1
40 mins. Why would the men of the 21st Army Group be described as exhausted?
1
42 mins. The German advance had already stopped before US t Third Army troops roops reached Bastogne.
1
43 minutes. There was no reluctance on the part of Montgomery to commit British forces to a German retreat. His troops were needed to Operation Vertitable, which he had bee forced to postpone in order to help to sort out the US mess in the Ardennes.
