  1. When i was in NZ my parents came for a visit from WA. First thing my Dad said was ‘Geez God must’ve been angry when he made NZ’ wasn’t meant in a bad way just the mountains and windy roads etc. He loved NZ. It is stunning. Hobbiton is in Matamata in the North Island. I was in NZ near Whakatane a couple of years back when Whakaari (White Island) exploded. NZ is fairly volcanic but Australia has no volcanoes. I was born in England, lived in Holland and Kuwait as a kid. Came to WA at 14 spent the majority of my adult life in WA but also a few years in NZ. I have the choice to live in Australia or NZ… how frickin lucky am I 😁

  2.  @markwaters3050  there are only 2 active volcanoes in Australian territories and both are in Antarctica.

  3.  @daveg2104  Australia is lucky to be one huge landmass, it’s not sitting where two tectonic plates collide.
