  1.  @sussanahkable106  they don’t throw their babies as such. Their pouches are muscular and when they’re in flight mode the muscle relaxes and the Joey falls out. The mother usually has an undeveloped Joey in reserve. She can have another baby, the Joey can’t. So it’s a survival of the species.
