So we are gonna close down a bunch of power plants and then force everyone into EVs and pretend like its not gonna spike utility prices and cause severe power outages? Sounds dumb

So the 2018 Farm Bill passed by the Fed allows for the Interstating of cannabis seeds of any kind. A little late to put the genie back in the bottle. Just losing tax revenue and putting businesses under. Before the medical marijuana bill passed in California back in the 90s Tennessee produced more weed than any other state because of our great climate. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Seeing as how she never got more than 2% in the democratic nomination process in 2020 a lot of people seem to agree. She's polling at 37%. About where Biden was at.......
8
The Farmers Almanac is more accurate because it doesn't have to play politics for money.
6
@jayceak7 You can say whatever you want. The problem is to keep a majority in America you have to get along with people you don't agree with and convince them of your ideas. And no young people aren't knowledgeable about anything. Your brain doesn't fully develop until your late 20s. That's when you develop advanced logic and reasoning skills. That's why most people are one way in their early 20s and different by the time they get to 30.

Hmmmm. 4th and Gill the Quarry in south Knoxville. I wonder if this has anything to do with the homeless camps that are in both areas. Nah. Must just be a coincidence
4
Well at least the young guy had a simple dream. No reason he cant get airbags or hydraulics.
4
So how does rising home prices explain how 80-90% of these people are on drugs? Why do you run monthly pieces trying to make excuses for homeless people? How does ignoring the dope help the problem?
4
@jayceak7 Reporting people and then responding is pretty lame. It's bizarre how many of you young people do that. That's also not how you build a majority. That's called democracy.
3
No it's because more people are becoming junkies.
3
I guess everyone at the game needs to chip in $1.......
3
All these people complaining about loud vehicles downtown and pretty regular DUI incidents/accidents around town. Makes you wonder why the cops dont start patrolling and making more stops around the area? A lot better than weird big brother, unconstitutional sound cameras/recorders.
3
They spent 24 years in Sevierville. Before that it was 46 years over in Parkridge in Knoxville. So history isn't on your side.
3
@Seriouslydave That has what to do with energy policy? Btw they have found micro plastics in ancient untouched ruins. There are also microbes down in the Amazon that eat micro plastics. They have been doing experiments at landfills down in Peru with the organism. So everyone since the dawn of man seems to have been ingesting micro plastics.

@lostprophecy7593 So the hospital cleared the lady. So how are the cops being negligentful? And a stroke is natural causes. Leaving someone that bleed out would fit that category. Blaming cops for someone having a heart attack or stroke in their presence is kind of a joke
2
@marcoantoniogodoy9526 The hospital cleared her and then got her arrested. I guess that's the republicans fault and not the hospitals.
2
@mrharry448 That has nothing to do with what I said. The part of your brain response for logic and reasoning doesn't fully develop until your late 20s. That's a scientific fact. You just threw a big turd against the wall pretending like something would stick. It did not.
2
@jayceak7 Dude California has intentionally been causing inflation for the past 12-15 years. They made gasoline artificially expensive. It in turn has made everything expensive and has made California one of the least affordable places to live on the planter.. That's also why the state has 40% of the USAs homeless population. No they can sustain themselves. Newsom has actually made southern California totally dependent on Nevada to get power from a dam in a desert. Most of the large scale agriculture companies are Chinese owned. The state is also running out of water. Regardless of all that a junior Senate hardly has anything to do with the good or bad.
2
Interesting. So I guess addiction was never mentioned when you asked people why they are homeless? Kind of makes the problem tidy and friendly.
2
Goth chicks are always the freakiest.

You left out the fact the Unions demanded a $5,000 bonus check and paid time off. If they dropped the check demand they may have gotten paid sick leave. Oh and the 24% pay increase. Guess the union needs to learn what compromise is .....
2
Oh yes to be young and lack a fully developed executive function.
2
Well it is..... If this administration would pull it's head out of it's butt this wouldn't be happening. I sure don't remember any snow when Trump was in office. This has got to stop. Vote for sanity 2022

I wonder sometimes if there is a way the city can partner with a rehab center? They have existing construction and the private/public partnerships could help spread the operational cost. There would have to be some buercratic way of means testing (people already living in KARM?🤷) and funding would only allow X amount a year. Maybe just experiment for a couple years with a pilot program, real limited numbers, see if it helps in those cases.
2
Theyve done a fantastic job making sure people can drive through the city on the highway and not spend any money. Meanwhile most locals are stuck inside, making no money and being told not to use much electricity.
2
@PeterRabbitWhatsup Wyoming just cleared their first windmill power plant. It took 40 years because the EPA kept ordering long term studies. No property owners raised objections. They still haven't built it. 40 years to get a permit from the Fed. Running energy policy by one liners on X is terrifying.
2
What do the cops do anymore? Not gonna be involved in wrecks. Don't do anything about the homeless. Hell homeless people have swing sets and hammocks hooked to the Cherry St bridge. That's a felony. They had power tools out. KPD is just a joke

@zjarr6279 I guess you are to lazy to even watch the video you are commenting on?
1
@zjarr6279 I'm sure I will die of natural causes one day. Its hilarious you created another account just to say that stupid crap to me.
1
@merc0805 You don't get to treat others the way you want to be treated when you have to arrest them. They should have taken the she's fat conversation to the other side of the car. What you claim is so obvious is only obvious because you know the outcome and you ignore the million other things that could have been going on. Stuff that cops would have tons of experience with and you don't because you've never been around it before.....

@adityavikramsingh9483 Wtf are you talking about? We don't have morale police here in America. We actually separate church and state for good reason. It's dangerous when the morale police take control. They end up being fascist, starting inquisitions or becoming kings/queens with ultimate authority. They end up being an angry mob that just attacks whomever disagrees with them. Kind of like what you are doing. We are nation of laws and rules. When the morale police come out all the lines blur. Then there is no justice, no belief in the system and only emotions and cult of personalities. Once society gets like that they become ripe for dictators, furors and czars. Is it any wonder we just had a president try to side step the constitution and stay in office when our society is filled with victims and the morale police? Not really. I have in no way demonstrate sociopathic behavior. It's obvious you don't know what that means or care to even learn. I haven't displayed any anti social behavior. The fact is I have demonstrated empathy for the lady and the police. She shouldn't have been talked to that way and it's suprising they didn't enquire about her getting a ride, or relatives.....etc... mote. They rendered care once they notice she past out and she died a day later in the hospital. The fact is she died of natural causes. Pretending like you can cheat death is well naive. See I'm actually looking at the issue through multiple peoples' positions and trying to make sense of it all. You just want to be part of a mob cause it feels good to yell get'em. Her death definitely invoked a lot of negative emotions in people. That however is not morale by itself. All majored religions teach personal responsibility as the utmost importance. Ignoring this ladies personal responsibility for her own condition just to drum up outrage against the cops isn't morale. It just makes you feel good. You think she's a victim so she deserves justice. Which is totally fine to have that opinion. But don't think it's morale. Morales start with oneself. Just cause we disagree doesn't mean that I'm whatever negative name you can come up with. See I have morales to and the first part of that is handle your own business.

@Chud_Bud_Supreme Good one.
1
@sl1456 They did. She died in the hospital the next day
1
Good now bicyclist have a whole lane so they can ride on the white line and force cars to dodge them anyway.
1
Nope. Violent crime rate is 3x lower then it was in the 90s
1
Maybe never..... they went insane trying to build these during Covid thinking everyone was gonna stay indoors forever and then after investors saw how much debt they created they backed away from opening them as their share prices crumbled after the split. Now with higher employment cost and stiff competiton from Walmart on groceries..........meh. I heard they let Target and Walmart both rent space there last Christmas for excess stock.
1
What a country we live in, on the one side are fascist hell bent on installing a plutocracy and on the other a bunch of ignorant socialist hellbent on a nanny state. To bad the middle of our society disappeared
1
The leading cause for homelessness is drug and alcohol abuse.
1
How is it the polices fault she has a stroke?
1
@katbrown Right........ I think her morbid obesity had more to do with the stroke then cops hurting her feelings. And no you can't tell who is acting and who isn't.
1
@AdaraBalabusta I'm not. The quality of police has went way, way down. The only thing thats worse is the quality of politicians. Constantly attacking police has ramifications that will take years to recover from if we ever recover from them at all. I just think we need to save the pitchforks for when necessary and let the police try to get a handle on this rather then letting everything being mob rule.
1
@zjarr6279 The hospital wanted her arrested for trespassing. Sorry you are stupid and want to comment on stuff you are to lazy to even learn about. The stroke happened after she was in the back of the car by herself. Maybe if you aren't to busy you could at least watch the video. But nah better to just get mad and say stuff that makes you sound like an idiot.
1
@janinewetzler5037 How is it obviously the cops fault? She was at 2 different hospitals that day? She may have been having a stroke all day long and two different hospitals cleared her and missed it. But the people with no training should be able to spot it with minimal symptoms. Symptoms that go along with a panic attack.which is quiet common when people are going to jail.
1
@janinewetzler5037 Yeah they aren't trained. The hospital is they cleared her and then called the cops on her
1
@janinewetzler5037 No it's not. They are using the police as a partisan enemy. It's running off potentially good cops to other areas. And leaving crappy cops like this to fill jobs and making it harder to get rid of them because they are so short staffed. You ever been in charge of people? Manager, executive, anything? Trashing employees is a definite no, no from a leadership position. Would you work for people who wetr constantly blaming you for everything wrong at your job? These politicians for the most part have zero management experience. If your employees fail it's your fault as their leader. It's your job to lay out rules, to correct behavior and to set standards. Throwing them under the bus without anything else to offer is what crappy leaders do. The only people who work for people like that are crappy employees. They are to lazy to go get another job so they say screw it and stay where they are at. Good employees aren't lazy and don't mind getting off their butt to find a better job. It's why as a leader you have to be careful about what you are saying.
1
@janinewetzler5037 She was at two hospitals that day and the day before. She stayed over night in the hospital that called the cops on her. Maybe you should read up on the situation before commenting since you obviously don't know what happened????????
1
@geoffdundee She died the next day in the hospital. Sorry you are to dumb and lazy to even keep up with the situation. You are more then welcome to watch/read more on the incident. I guess weird grammar is suppose to make you sound more serious or something?
1
No that would make them partisan hacks

Wow, what were you watching?
