  2. You must be talking about the Okeechobee Waterway because that’s man made but the lake itself has existed for thousands of years. The waterway has been killing the glades and the lake itself

  4. That is true because the southernmost parts like in Cape Sable area and elsewhere has seen trees further inland dying off from seawater. Most of the die off though follows the arrival of hurricanes as the storms push the seawater inland into the canals.
