  1. The host's assertion that Finland has taken steps toward a universal basic income is a lie. Finland tried a guaranteed income scheme giving randomly chosen unemployed adults money for several months and found that the scheme didn't help them find employment. But perhaps Germans are more industrious or more willing to pay non-workers.
