The situation in Venezuela is reminiscent of the situation in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. Everyone knows the government is sending the country to ruin but no one is willing to step in. In the end, the Khmer Rouge fell because Vietnam invaded, and world leaders were critical but Cambodians were not.

@nightlightabcd Are you claiming that the US didn't have these problems before Trump became president? What do you mean by 'becomes more fascist every day'? The people of the US seem from this side of the Atlantic to be becoming less and less able to settle differences through conversation, but from this side of the Atlantic it also seems that the mainstream media and perhaps the Democratic party are at least as responsible for this as Trump if not more so.
