All good advice of which I’ve used on many occasions, power banks,aircon,inverter generators or cheaper plug in camp sites is an issue we’ve crunched the numbers on many times and are still debating. A bluetti that’s big enough to run aircon for any length of time is cost prohibitive for us at present,same for good quality inverter . We have plenty of cheaper camp sites for $20 or less which are great but still add up to a lot of money over time . Currently we stay of grid for as long as the battery with solar lasts and go for plug in to top up battery or do washing. Extreme heat or cold weather is a real danger and we either bite the bullet and pay or move to a better climate. Which is probably my tip if possible, find a spot with a better climate and move to it . For us down under its south in summer around the coast or in the mountains and north in winter, you’ll still have the cost of getting there of course, but save in the long run.
