The Italics are the most historically, ethnically and linguistically impacting people in the history of mankind yet pop culture will refuse over and over acknowledging them as such and giving it a proportionate historiographical identity by essentially either counter-posing or substituting Rome to them in either a nationalistic sense and/or without understanding the most intimate Italic and Indo-European nature of Romanity, the Empire and their world hegemony.
