  3.  @samyeharshel  But so was the inflation? The higher GDP was created in agricultural sector by artificially increasing the MSP to make farmers happy. As a result, the cost of living of food became expensive to the consumers. Rest is up to you how you digest the numbers.

  6. One thing I don't understand about people, such as SG, who extol UPA's economy growth vs. Modi's tenure. And that is the unimaginable inflation rate all throughout UPA from as low as 9% to as high as 15.7 % ( at the end of UPA-I). So whereas UPA did achieve decent growth (the curve is a little wobbly), it was accompanied with high inflation. I have not known as single election that was not fought on the issue of mehangayi and somehow Modi put a lid on mehangayi to as low as 2% without no attribution from journalists. That hurts me.
