  1. Why does the diameter of the bore decrease when its cold? Should it not increase since the wall thickness is getting bigger and smaller you describe it as the thickness is constant and the diameter is changing it doesn’t really make sense please explain. they preheat engines in other classes and from what I have seen that is because piston slap. A Mercedes v10 F1 engine had beryllium pistons would have been cool to mention those but maybe it’s own separate video
