why should the mass of the object you are trying to propel be proportional to the torque the engine can create.

would love to hear it with other exhaust manifold 8 to 1 and 16 to 1

@jakubmusil1109 I agree 500kw na out of 1.5l is absurd but 500kw out of 1.5l is not as hard as you make it out to be the bmw m12/13 used a stock block with 2 bolt main caps if i remember right(this did fail with the crank flying out in quali) just look at a b58 they get over 750kw with port injection, con rods and more ring gap. the thing with a wrc engine is that it is in a power class so limited to 300kw for example but very high torque with a flat power curve. wrc engines are not made for peak power. the more interesting claims are that of higher bsfc and bmep as well as better swirl and tumble without sacrificing ve.

a nos kit is cheaper than a supercharger kit idk why it blow up bad tune or not enough ring gap is the most common

@fidelcatsro6948 you are missing the point. gears exist

@jakubmusil1109 bmw got 1000kw out of 1.5l when it was strong enough and didnt need to meet emissions the real question is can it make the power reliably without worse emissions. unless you are assuming that he is saying 500kw without boost then i agree however the bmep is more interesting and if a rotary valve can crack the 128nm per liter with petrol.

i wouldn't upgrade it alone. you could check iat temps with a obd2 scan tool on country roads and motorway if it's to high the increase the size of the inter cooler. however don't go to big as it is a restriction and will give lower boost pressures as the restriction will cause pressure drop
2
as i understand there is not a low pressure wave following the particles instead there is a low pressure wave going against the direction of propagation when area(velocity and pressure) is changed. please correct me if i am wrong
2
@fidelcatsro6948 not necessarily they don't have to have fixed ratios
2
Does 5:55 look similar to you. This guy needs to begin sitting his sources
2
@louKushh yes this is correct but he is trying to normalize non boxer flat engines being called 180 degree v. next thing will be a pi v engine
2
Renault engine was more sophisticated with the use of pneumatic valve springs and variable vane dampers
2
that exists coolanol 25r only 2000 dollars per gallon it is made by mobil as in exxonmobil and apparently is used to cool electrical components by submerging them in coolant. it is also used for the intercoolers in a lighting aircraft so aerospace. one big thing is that it does not allow bacterial growth which is not really a problem for you. The name suggests some alcohol is used which makes sense because i see many comments suggesting ethanol or methanol.
2
piston weight is not very relevant to rpm capability.
2
because weight IS a force from the gravitational field(mg) more MASS reduces rpm capability since it has more momentum...

Using a whetstone is not that easy and I feel as i have used it more I have got better at getting a sharp edge I am not quite at push cut yet but I am able to do very clean paper cuts

Why does the diameter of the bore decrease when its cold? Should it not increase since the wall thickness is getting bigger and smaller you describe it as the thickness is constant and the diameter is changing it doesn’t really make sense please explain. they preheat engines in other classes and from what I have seen that is because piston slap. A Mercedes v10 F1 engine had beryllium pistons would have been cool to mention those but maybe it’s own separate video
1
@jimmyofthesea1883 more ring gap does not mean more blow by on different engines you need to consider the gap when at operating temperature not cold. in theory you should measure gap at a standardized temperature
1
A perfect exhaust would definitely have stepped headers as well as using better materials(like you mentioned). 180 degree headers would be better if you can get the correct length primaries. 8 to 1 would sound better.

Nr. Cs go if you don’t check a spot you will probably die nr. Six sige

Should have used crosshair 7 impact

antilag by retarding timing with or without fresh air Variable Vane Damper rocket anti lag NOx twin scroll exhaust housing variable geometry turbine housing compound turbo twin charging these are not all methods to reduce lag some reduce boost threshold all the method which increase mass flow of exhaust are not like by oems since they use fuel. of the methods the only one which is not seen in mass produced cars is Variable Vane Damper i assume this is because it affects lag and not threshold however all current turbo f1 engines use this system and the majority used it historically fist being used on ww2 aero engines.
1
@KaitouKaiju the weight of the transmission is good and aids in traction i don't see your point
1
@vistakay weight is not related to inertia
1
@vistakay The weight is the force due to mg i understand what you are saying but the use of the word weight instead of mass is incorrect

Does anyone know how the tag engine is throttled and what kind of valve springs it uses
1
square setup does actually not have the smallest area smallest. a radius of 1/(2^2 /3*cbrt(pi)) has smaller area
1
You are cutting your psu wattage down by 200w without cooling hope those small fans are good enough

it is a 4 port (4 intake) like the lower 190hp rx-8 it also seems to have 2 oil injectors per rotor. still has siamese exhaust ports(central port) and the new ones seem to be asymmetric as well. 6 intake ports with a divided central exhaust port or peripheral port would be better. many rx8 owners replace the stock oil injection system in favor of premixing rotary/2-stroke oil(which burns properly) or modifying the system so it injects 2-stroke oil this also allows for better full synthetic engine oil to be used both types of systems have been used in bikes for many years. looks like the "irons"(plates with ports) are now made of Al and intake port is angled
1
@louKushh He meant that. 180 degree v is a stupid way of saying flat.

Hi
1
F=m*a is not correct netwtons second law is the rate of change of momentum with respect to time is directly proportional to the force F∝d(mv)/dt so F is only equal ma when mass is constant
1
@vasilisgreen How am i contradicting myself
1
@vasilisgreen piston mass isn't constant if you want to know more then look up Lorentz factor however as gamma is~1 and chance in mass is negligible
1
@jaredbawden6707 if you double weight then i want to know where you live
1
@ngauruhoezodiac3143 mean speed is higher at same rpm when the distance swept is higher.
1
@vasilisgreen i am commenting on the bad word choice as mass and weight are not the same. relativistic mass is not a constant however invariant mass is. it can be ASSUMED that it is constant for the calculations.
1
@vasilisgreen stop gate keeping physics why should a average joe not be taught the correct terms
1
@vasilisgreen the reason you say you weigh x is because you have measured how much you weigh
1
@vasilisgreen are you saying the dimensions dont work
