@skeletonwguitar4383 And WW1 should be proof enough that complex chain of alliances with dozens of countries add safety only up to a certain level and after that they bring up instability (as what happened in WW1). Neither British neither germans were in bad terms, neither wanted to fight each other, neither started the war, but they were dragged to it and right into the middle and to the very end.
