  1.  @hanshuber1875  NOt even close is an exageration. 95% of time a tank is fighting infantry and a T72 is equally effective at fighting infantry than would be a leopard 2. Tank vs tank combat rarely happens in this war.

  2. Naa.. US armed forces are indeed very powerful. But only they are operating it. They demand the absurd US logistics capability to be used in an effocient form. TO just give some tanks and guns do not make an army an USARMY equivalent. US weapons are made to leverage US advantages and those are not present at all in ukraine.

  6. Well Western weapons are also superior on operator's survivability. That is very important on a democracy as losing too many troops can cause a government to fall in a democracy.

  10. US can outproduce Russia, but it cannot without mobilization outproduce a mobilized Russia. Those are different scenarios. If USA was under real threat it coudl easily outproduce Russia, but they cannot afford to make an economy mobilization for a country in othr side of world.

  12. More or less. If they wanted to attack NATo ITSELF or US territory the gearing of war woudl be far different, there would be no internal pressure to cut expenses. But they have indeed proved that NATO cannot defeat Russia just with pocket excesses.
