  3. In My country there is a law that stealing FOOD for immediate consumption if you have no means to adquire food for you or your children is the only case where criminal charges will not be pressed. That is a much more reasonable approach than somethign dumb as 900 USD theft not being theft.

  4. I do nto know why that is so hard to understand. Legal and illagal, so clear concepts. They could claim legal immigration is too hard, and want to work to make it easier, that would be valid political position. But politicians should never promote ILLEGAL anything. I am not american, but if I ever went to move to USA I would do it legally, having found a work beforehand. To be part of a society is not to be a parasite of it.
