Dont be in such a rush. Youtube is pressed by other companies even trough law threats, when it becomes economically bad to keep a channel they will act on it. It is a company it is their product and any company can decide with who to work with. The issue is, peopel affected should be given full information on why and what is happening.

@mathewhill5556 What? ten just stop using you tube and use the OTHER video services. Youtube doe snto have a monopoly, it stops no oen from using other systems, but people do nto even SEEK for content in those. If you forcefully split youtube you wil lend up with one half closing (BEcaus epeopel will nto use it, and everyoen flocking to the other). It is NOT a monopoly, it is simply PUBLIC PREFERENCE!

@mathewhill5556 But that cannto be changed by anyone but the people that produce content. As long as content is produced for youtube only, this situation will remain The people that complain of youtube power are the ones spoon feeding it.

@Perroden The ones that GIVE money to google. The ones that PAY for the ads. They set RULES. they do not want their ads near videos with contents X,Y,Z. They are the ones that make the rules, they own the money, Google MUST comply with them. Ever make an online add? You get to chose (Depending on how much you pay) what type of channel will have your adds.

@cobalt-snake6125 And those are not monetized. That is the main difference. Not saying I like those, but that is the reason why the standards are different.

aa ifyou are really big, not content creator, but if you PAY youtube for ads, then it is easy. That is normal, any company will give preference to the ones that give them money.

It doe snot matter if they have the resources. If they use it the business gets less lucrative and they lose investors. If peopel do nto like youtube policies, MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE! The only thing youtube is doing wrong is not being transparent.

@The_ViciousOne It is not up to me or You to think it, it is about the finances department of youtube. We have zero clue how much they lose when they are faced with some legal action.

@The_ViciousOne You brought a good example. It is alike firing in a job. And that is how it works in real world. One must be really naive to believe in what the HR department gives as an excuse for you being part of that layoff. That is already how things work everywhere. The only defene is to not put all your eggs into the same basket.

@Jenacide No, jsut an adult that knows that whinning gets you no where. Want to change? Move yourself to other service. Complaining and still using a service is just childish and dumb.

@The_ViciousOne A sufficient reason is we are restructuring our costs. Another valid reason is we want someone with better performance (you just hire that person one day before.. simple.. that is NORMAL) . Or they will always find a tiny rule that you broke. Or we closed that position. That is a valid set of reasons (what you cannot do if make something that contradict the stated reason)
