  3. These so called specialists that say there is no tactical value are just clueless. Look at the damn MAP. It is the cross over of 4 roads adn 3 train lines. Russia controlign it cuts 40% of east Ukranian logistics routes!

  4. Not really the more modern Abrams got so heavy that they lost their speed advantage outside road (because the suspension limits of stress). The T80 U has the exact same offroad speed and the Leclerc is faster than both

  5. Bakhmut is "important" because there is a large cross over of roads near it, without taking the city completely the Russians cannot advance with any safety on their logistics.The Russians NEED that spot "safe" do do anything on that front.

The chance of someone being hit 2 times in a short row from fragments of artillery fire is very low (because these type of attacks are very spread usually) it woudl be more effective statistically to just focus on treat hear and everyoen get out of there, but you cannot expect paramedics to think sttistically in a crisislike that.

  14.  @de6212  NATO itself is reporting they are low on ammo of several arms they have given to Ukraine. US probably is the one with largest stockpiles but they did not donate most of the artillery for example

  15. I think these commenters forget that EAST ukraine is pro Russian ( not fully but majoritarilly) so they will also gather people from that side to help control the country.
