  3.  @stephenjones5049  The So called Rods of god are misleading. The rod cannot deliver more energy than the energy that was spent to put it in orbit (laws of energy conservation ). Therefore it means less energy than the explosion of the rocket that was used to move it up. The alternative is moving things that are already in higher orbits and therefore have more relative kinetic energy to earth, but those are weapons that take days or weeks to hit its target (and that basically means a crap weapon )
