We never watched tv, I took my sons walking in the mountains, shooting and learned them how to build stone walls, anything practical, my grandfathers saying was, don't tell me show me, something that most men who only talk fail to do and or share, talking is cheap if you cannot follow it up with something you have made.

This poem fits right into place with what hs happened to society over the last fourty years, like the piece of a jigsaw without the picture to follow for guidance, society always lives or dies by the things it creates and by what it makes. This is how our hands and minds have died since our industry has been decimated and then redistributed leaving another fall of man, without his or her hand to eye coordination in place we begin to die as a nation, slowly at first then exponentially once we reach a certain level where training for the future has ceased, and are then unable to fend for ourselves.

  4.  @keithfrederick877  It is already too late for most Millennials, fifty two percent of women today are still childless by the time they reach thirty two, as young parents we had alreaady raised our two boys by then and were well on their way in their early teens, glad we did it that way now we get time to relax and enjoy our lives fully.

  5. Money today is not real money it is electronic and out of sight, like prayers and hopes it is all encompassing, there are many different kinds of materialism, some sustainable and some that need feeding with the ego and anothers energy.

  7.  @Toyotaamazon80series  Back in the sixties something else was extant or soon to be front line and problematic for the family unit, what I saw happen was the following, instigated by what was known as free trade dealings from a vested interest and those in government who also owned shares in certain companies who were looking for overseas profits by third world reality. To unstabalise society first you must take away their means of supporting the family unit, IE, their jobs, when this happens the stability of the once stable family unit and country is sent into a tail spin and the women of the house had to get a part time jobs to make ends meet, this then upsets the smooth running of rising children a task and a half. Once the children are taken from the breast and the man has no way of providing for his family a chain reaction occurs, most can handle a couple of problems at any one time but the more they encounter they simply loose all composure and llose their ability to function. The courts in favour of the ali-money is only one factor and ex post facto justification for what was designed to follow. Once a nation reduces its hand to eye coordination and creativity it begins to bleed from within, this was seen when the schools began closing down its woodwork and metalwork classrooms and practical platforms. A nation devoid of real life and practical skills is a stitting duck waiting for the buckshot to enter its flesh, this is what was done, therafter the paradigm can no longer withstand the droughts that are designed and followed.

  10.  @phoenixrising4995  I have no doubt that they are using what are known as shorts, fast avenues of dopamine to kick start their day, instead of typing and or writing something that requires the mind to think for itself. Then on the other hand we have a constant supply of fear from many channels of what may or they think is coming, this is also detrimental to the psyche in many ways and upsets clear and rational thinking.
