@MrTangent whatever model/make, it sure was a fine point. Plywood probably was tough on the tip!

Thank you for choosing teaching! I didn't because I didn't want to deal with the kids that didn't want to be there!

You guys had so much fun doing this! I would have loved to have been there!

I sure wish YouTube was around when I was a kid! This would have influenced my life greatly!

@markday3145 I was thinking the same. It did appear to be outside of the container. Could be wrong.

Great video! My 13 year old daughter and I watched this together and we both enjoyed it a lot!

Only problem is, there isn't a video every day for me to get smarter! Just making a point. Not complaining! ;)

My first movie in a theater was Twenty Thousand Leagues under the sea . I probably was 3-5 years old. Don't remember much. But definitely getting the audio book. Have already listened to Thunder Below!

Thank you for your efforts in creating this wonderful video! Oh how I wish I'd been exposed to this environment early on in life! I do remember sitting in front of the TV watching Neal bounce down the ladder! I'm such an under achiever! So scared of math and science!

Dustin, you know you're doing something right when our 11 year old daughter asks to watch your videos! Thanks for the clean, educational videos!

@Tornadopelt if it's the Mayo combusting, why didn't all of it lite? This is my reasoning for the paper being on fire. Could be wrong.

We are smarter because of this video!

You and your wife need to do MORE videos together! Like you, she does a great job! Thanks for the videos!

Yep, I just got a little smarter!

As a person who wanted to build a remote car starter in 5 grade back in around 1974, which I never moved past the thought stage, I truly wish I wasn't so terrified of math and physics, and had become a Mechanical engineer! I do have a BS in industrial technology, but that doesn't give me the ME. Yes, ask the difficult questions! Not exactly sure where I'm going with this. 🤔

Old technology is used on my 1958 Plymouth Suburban, carburetor. My car is the one on the left in the picture. It's been in the family my whole life as it was my late father's. Perhaps some might enjoy following along as I get it back to daily driver condition. Remember that bell notification.

I absolutely love the Martian! However, it's not something I would let my 10 year old listen to be cause of the amount of swearing in it which is something I try to avoid for myself too. Other than that, she'd love it! I need another book to listen to. Suggestions? Something along the same lines as the Martian! On a side note, our 10 year old really enjoys your videos!

Being born in 1965, the internet didn't exist! Personal computers didn't exist! Consider yourself lucky to have videos like these to guide you to engineering! I too, at 58 find these videos inspirational! May you enjoy your career choice!

@brandonb417 the internet can be a good influence!

I absolutely enjoy "Thunder Below"! "Skunk Works" is very eye opening! Want to learn how much it takes tp develop an airplane?
