@DHFlip18 oh, come on.... what's the rest of the story?!

I picked up a tire machine from marketplace. $300.00! Needed some work. But for that price, I can put some time and parts into it. Had to rebuild the turntable gearbox. New seals and bearings. I have one of the old bearings hanging on the bead breaker handle to remind myself what effort I've put into it so not to take it for granted. Some O-rings in the foot pedals valves, rebuilt the clamping cylinders. New O-rings in the rotator that transfers air to the clamping cylinders. I've found very reasonable priced aftermarket parts such as cylinder kits. Don't have to pay Snap-Ons price.

Consider balancing beads instead of getting a balancer. Much either and the tires will always be balanced. If you have to remove them from a tire, place a nylon stocking over the end of a vacuum hose. Yep, you can then suck them up, then dump them in a container.

@biohazardlnfS then he'd have an expensive coat rack! AKA tire balancer. I'm in the same position. Have a balancer, but like the concept of beads.

@mrmotofy nope Mil didn't get charged for this either. https://youtu.be/47zu-yG-3Io

@tunnelvision2day I have a balancer. Need to get it fastened down and wired. Was thinking about going with beads.... Maybe get the balancer going.

Do you have the correct bar to lift the tire's bead onto the "duck head"? Mine is longer than the bar you're using.

@tdotw77 hey, do you enjoy vintage vehicles? I'm working on getting my late father's 1958 Plymouth Suburban (profile picture) back to daily driver condition. Playlist on my channel.

New subscriber here. Nice job producing your videos! Some people might enjoy following along as I get my 1958 Plymouth Suburban back on the road.

Have you seen a red dot on tires? Ment manufacturers put that dot on the lightest place on the tire. That dot should line up with the valve stem. Should greatly reduce the amount of weight to balance the tire.
