One trap I'm trying to avoid is disassemble my car to the point it's not drivable! I know myself too well! I won't get it back together!!

Go back and look at his other videos. Judge him by his past demeanor. Has he faked other videos?

@ThunderHead289 been trying to contact you. I don't live too far away from you, in Minnesota. I have a 1958 Plymouth Suburban I'd like to try this on.

@josephallred8633 I'm trying to figure out how he controlled the additional bleed air to keep the fuel mixture correct. He started out thinking it would be either totally lean or extremely rich? I don't live very far from him and hope to see this set up with my own eyes.

@mikebrunello243 YEP! I'm taking slow steps. Driver door panel is redone and going on soon. Passenger side is next.

Looks great on the outside! I wonder what the thought process is?

My take on Thunderhead's lawnmower carb setup. Because the opening is so small, there's a constant vacuum allowing fuel from the bowl. I believe without the metered makeup air controlled by the wide range O2 sensor, I believe he said it would either run very rich or very lean. I have a 1958 Plymouth Suburban that's got a hungry 318 under the hood. Would be interesting to fit a smaller carb with an O2 sensor and a ICV to meter additional air as needed. Probably won't win any acceleration challenges, but, might make it affordable to drive. Link to my playlist of my '58. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMaLPwPr28mlkzzgNSuLCdVyCnJmZ2Pf2

Looks like your channel name is based around the 318! Poly or LA? My late father's car has the older Poly

@Letsgotojail he seems to be a straight shooter and not being a person to fake things with edits. He shows his PCB boards in the software he designed them in. Look back at his previous videos. They show his true character. I don't live very far away from him and hope to see this will my own eyes sooner than later. I have a 1958 Plymouth that I would like to put it on to make it affordable to drive. https://youtu.be/jZpC3kEv3pE

I have this 1958 Plymouth Suburban with a 318. I'm going to attempt to duplicate Luke's carb setup with a wide band O2 sensor and a ICV to get the AFM to ideal. I believe he's going to come out with a kit/plans for his carb set up. Link to my playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMaLPwPr28mlkzzgNSuLCdVyCnJmZ2Pf2

@motov8-garage832 hear you there! I need new rubber gasket on my windshield. Some issues. The reproductions don't fit very well. Used ones are available, but spendy! I do want to reuse the glass!

Maybe some enjoy following along as I get my late father's 1958 Plymouth Suburban back to daily driver condition? https://youtu.be/9jJxV_qSNmg

I'll definitely have to try a dwel meter on my 1958 Plymouth Suburban with a 318. Link to my playlist. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMaLPwPr28mlkzzgNSuLCdVyCnJmZ2Pf2
