I've saved several brake lines like you did! Pull the cylinder, unscrew the line, and then free up the nut!

Matt, may I post a link to a video about my late father's 1958 Plymouth Suburban and my journey of getting it back on the road?

Turning the distributor cap doesn't change the timing. Timing is changed by when the points open. The timing sounds a bit on the retarded side. I understand why this one is being sent down the road. All ways enjoy your videos.

As always! Great video!

Brush cutter looks great. Only improvement I could see is having foot control for direction instead of using your hand.

Like #903 Thanks for the video!

One thing I learned that's helpful in getting tires seated is to get them warm in the sun. Makes the tire much more plyable. How did I miss this video?!
1
YouTube can pay very well if videos draw viewing hours which Matt does get!
1

Read some comments. They say what I would say! Congratulations on a successful channel! I somewhat understand the amount of work and time that goes into quality videos. I wish I had your creativity and skill to produce interesting quality content! My content would be about the car in my profile picture.

"Professional tin nocker"? Might be a a story time video.

When I worked at a farm equipment dealership, we'd often hook a cylinder to a post and have the yard guy swing by with his skid steer and yank it apart! Yes it's been done before!
1
Edison Motors have a good thing going!
1
Nice bench! Yeah, I'll watch you build stuff! LoL 😂😆

Soldering tip. Pre-coat, aka tin, each surface with solder. It'll help solder flow. Nice job!

Matt, although I've never seen the movie "Christen" and probably never will, because I hate seeing vehicles being destroyed. Here's my connection. '58 Plymouth running. I hope to have it on the road this summer. I hope to make some more videos of the process. Just need 4 14" tires and assemble the brakes. A few other items. I tell more about it in my video. https://youtu.be/jZpC3kEv3pE

Seeing Teflon tape on fittings that do not use the threads to seal shows me the person didn't stop to think before they started wrapping!
1
Nice!
1
@DieselCreek , that explains why you're one with the machines !
1
You guys must of had a blast cranking the thing up having two guys that actually know what they're doing! Saw a backhoe on Facebook Marketplace for $1500.00. engine was stuck. Could have been just a soft seaze or a total rusted engine. I wanted that so bad! I didn't bite! :(
1
Did you watch the whole video? 🤔 YouTube is treating him well!
1
Besides, old iron is in his blood!!
1
What percentage of viewers watch to the end? I do!
1
If you had as much fun ripping that cab off and dumping it in the box as I did watching it, well done! You did one better than the guy using the chainsaw to cut his dash to put in his radio in his truck.
1
Nice planning for the video! Is your saw a 066?
1
Keep bringing EM HOME!! I'll watching!
