How much would it cost for you to look over a prepurchase vehicle?

I was going to post this as a question.

Pulled the dash on my '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee to replace the evaporator coil. Now I have a beater with a heater AND AC!

Chains can rattle and the engine still run. Now, if the chain jumped a tooth or more, definitely more of a chance of not running.

Air powered Venturi vacuum pump from Harbor Freight would well if you have a compressor that can keep up. I recently got a 5hp compressor that should do the job. https://youtu.be/h1Ippqg9YzE

Plymouth Sundance. Heater core was plugged. My car. Was supposed to pull the dash. I took the lower fasteners out, opened the hatch, hooked a come-a-long to it and the bottom of the dash. Pulled it out far enough to RnR the core.

How about 1958? Car's in my profile picture.

I've wondered if a catch can or an oil separator would keep the gunk out of the intake. Looks like I've found my answer! However, my newest vehicle is an '03!

LoL 😂😆 I'm sure he might break it out sometime! The problem I find with manuals is a lot of the information I already know! I have to be board and Wade through that stuff to get to the bits I'm looking for. Sometimes I could write the manual better.

My question also. 🤔

I believe the oil pressure going to the lifters rely on a tight tolerance between the lifter and the bore. Too much clearance, oil pressure would be compromised.

@jthonn I've seen other shops send the block out for the lifter boar to be machined and a sleeve installed.
