My dad told me something when I was a kid that stuck with me my whole life, "Never argue with an idiot, you can't win." I worked in adult education for many years and ran across my share of stupid people. In reality, their numbers aren't as high as you would think based on the collective psychosis we are suffering through today. I used to break it down for facilitators who worked for me this way; ignorance is a state of mind, stupid is a state of being. One can be fixed, the other can't.
