Wow, I hadn't heard that because I don't typically pay attention to Glenn Beck. I cancelled my Blaze subscription a couple years ago because of their crappy customer service. I was almost ready to give it another try because I like Steve Deace and one or two other pundits on his network then Beck sent out that maternity message, congratulating Rubin and his buddy on the birth of that woman's child that they claim is theirs. That snapped me back to my senses. Beck has always been a goofball. I was pissed when Conservative Review got gobbled up by his outfit since that was how I ended up at the Blaze in the first place. Thanks for letting me know about Beck's latest ridiculous comments. It helps remind me that he has more screwballs and mediocre talent on that network than I'm willing to pay for, starting with him.

That is an excellent breakdown on the power dynamic. It touches also on, what for me anyway, is the most disturbing element, the spiritual component. Sure, there are some true believers who see a manmade utopia at the end of the LGB rainbow because they reject God and the notion that people are born with a fallen nature that cannot be overcome by any Earthly power. But the movement is darker than that, it is demonic, not some make-believe hollywood style possession, but real demons empowered and let loose on a culture that welcomed them in. Read Return of the Gods by Jonathan Cahn. Then read Live Not by Lies: A Manual for Christian Dissidents by Rod Dreher. Regardless of your beliefs or worldview, even if you are atheist or agnostic, those two books will provide insight and prepare you for this party, which is just getting started.

The useful idiots never get it. They think somehow they will be spared when they are loading the boxcars and setting up the camps. Ask the party members who helped Stalin come to power how that little game is played. The people who excuse these calls for death are the same ones who criticize a movie like Sound of Freedom. Their souls are poisoned. The thing, is, when the ultimate roll call is held, they will find out that their buddy Satan hates them with an even deeper passion than he does those who stand against him. But hey, hate on. There never really has been a conservative movement. There have been two presidents, Calvin Coolidge and Ronald Reagan who could be be considered conservative. That said, both enacted laws and policies which could hardly be considered conservative, like tariffs and massively increasing the debt. But the actual downfall of the conservative movement as defined by Reagan began with his successor, george the first. Newt put a bandage on the wound inflicted by bush but then george the second ripped that bandage off with his guns and butter spending and bailouts for institutions that had no business being bailed out. The betrayal of the tea party candidates twisted the knife and then Trump came along and put was left of the movement on life support. There is very little resembling even a sham movement anymore. It's been described as an industry and that is a better term for it. We are in the age of celebrity politics and click bait journalism. The right embraces these high profile defectors because ever since obama they have craved media stars of their own. Trump is running a campaign completely on that notion, bragging about polls and how much he is loved while offering no actual solutions for anything. And what about us, the regular person who has tuned out all the noise and just wants to be left to their own devices? To worship God a raise a family without a bunch of interference from demented crackpots and demonic leaders? Well, as the man said, we have been made to care. A time for choosing. It's here, and it's real. Choose wisely because you're not likely to get too many more bites at the apple.

You mean the guy who got all school-girl gushy when he interviewed Paul Ryan? They guy who called Nikki Haley his spirit animal? Maybe it's because I'm just an old codger not hip enough to get him but Shapiro has nothing to say that even remotely interests me. The thing is, I remember when he was a brash kid who used to challenge all kinds of establishment politicians and their squishy policies. Funny how making a few bucks causes your balls shrink in the world of the right-wing grift.

The left doesn't have an optics problem it has a God problem. They make think their marching orders come from their political overlords but the place they actually emanate from is much darker. The United States is the largest market for child pornography. Maybe that has something to do with the pit-of-hell reaction this film seems to have aroused. If you aren't familiar with the term MAP, short for minor attracted person, get ready because the ground is already being laid for pedophiles to replace the transgender crowd as the next victim group to be propped up by the left and their cohorts in the alphabet mafia. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe all this slippery slope stuff really is just red meat for the vast right-wing conspiracy. I mean everyone knows gays only wanted civil unions for the insurance benefits. They would never go so far as demanding gay marriage and make an open attempt to groom kids. That was just religious scare tactics. Remember?

Insightful commentary. Crooks like those running the government behave in the same way the thieves emptying the shelves at a kalifornia CVS behave. They know there are no consequences for any of their actions so what the hell. We empowered the ruling class by letting them get away with their shenanigans for far too long. You beat a dog long enough he learns to submit. You give that same dog enough treats he learns to respond. Simple operant conditioning. Take away the reinforcements? Well, then the dog does what he wants. We have a fallen nature. Leaving it to its own devices is not a wise course of action. Trusting it is even more reckless. Unless you like the show. I spent like a month on Facebook about 20 years ago because my sister kept at me about it. Not only did I find it an incredible waste of time, people from my past started "finding" me, wanting to be my friend. There was a reason I hadn't had any contact with those people for years. I tried to cancel my account but I guess Facebook doesn't let you do that, so who knows, maybe I've been posting cat MEME's for 20 years. As for Twitter, I'm not a mover and shaker and I'm not into train wrecks, no matter how much some people may have earned our derision so I think I'll pass. I comment on YT from time-to-time but that's becoming less frequent as well. I have no problem being an average run of the mill shmuck nobody really cares that much about outside of God and my family. Be safe out there kiddies, lotsa sharks looking for chum.

I have friends who consider themselves liberal, but they are thinking in terms that applied 50-60 years ago when the seeds of liberalism were planted in their psyche. Now when I point out how zany and out of control the left has become they look at me sideways, thinking I'm a Q-Anon conspiracy freak I imagine. They honestly don't think their side has slipped past the point of no return, either because the propaganda they listen to tells them we are the zany ones or to not believe their lying eyes or because they just don't want to let go of that old "peace, love, dope" mentality where a kumbaya moment was right around the corner in the Age of Aquarius. The new left if you want to call it that is more inline with Mao's Cultural Revolution but that was always where it was headed. When I used to tell people I could never vote for a democrat because I thought Locke got human nature right and Rousseau got it wrong I got that same puzzled look I talked about earlier. Wanna understand where we are and how we fix it? Start with Plato and his Allegory of the Cave. Then read the Bible and get right with God. This is a spiritual battle, not an ideological one. Until we fully grasp that we will never win, at least not until the Second Coming. Maybe we're headed there. I dunno. Get right with God. That's my advice.

The left destroys everything they get a hold of because their ideology is not only Godless, it is based on fiction. They believe in the perfection of man because they have to. If there is no Heaven, you need to sell the notion that a utopia can be created on Earth, otherwise, what's the point. When that fallacy falls apart, and the masses are left with no purpose, they become nihilistic and prone to a dictator to provide order. It is a pattern that has repeated itself over and over again, no matter how many times they convince themselves that all they have to do is avoid the mistakes of others. But in the end it never works because the true believers have misread human nature and the predators within the group are just in it for the acquisition of power. The United States has been operating within a Cold War framework for far too long for a variety of reasons. At the top of the list is the profitability of the construct. Why is NATO still even a thing? NATO was created at a time when Europe was weak and Stalin was the boogeyman. After the USSR collapsed NATO should have collapsed along with it. Instead they decided to grow the damn thing, inviting trouble by inviting in nations we were under no obligation to protect. We won the Cold War but we kept the game going all the same. But NATO is only one example of America dropping the ball. Nixon pointed out in one his first books that the U.S. has a natural dislike for empire and that would hamper our ability to manage world affairs in a sustainable fashion. I'm not an isolationist, but the Truman Doctrine should have been scrapped in the early 1990s and a leaner more pragmatic foreign policy should have been created. Now, as we drift toward the we-are-the-world utopia of the globalist set we are fighting the war of the bathrooms. God help us.
