My nephew got married a couple years ago and has been trying to put the money together to buy a home but the prices keep rising faster than he can save. Well, I get the feeling within the next year or so, after the bubble bursts, the home prices will be low enough but the market will shrink and the interest rates will continue to price him out. I remember when I bought my first house and was pleased as punch when I was able to make a $2,000 profit after I was forced to sell it two years later due to a military move. How times have changed. Yes, if you if you figure out a way let Otto the dishwater buy the home of dreams, two years later that dream will most likely become a nightmare for Otto. The foreclosure market will look like it did in 2009. I'm not even an economist and I saw the first bubble bursting before it did. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this one coming. This economic crash is only in stage one. Remember, there was a two-year gap between the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and a full-blown depression. We haven't seen the worst of it yet. How did Milton Friedman put it, there's no such thing as a free lunch? Get ready to pay the tab, with a healthy tip included in the cost.

Tulsi is too savvy to a politician to run for president as an independent. I don't agree with her on numerous issues but perhaps her cutting the cord with the marxist democrats is another step in her political evolution. Or, it may be an opportunistic play on her part. People will now be courting her in much the same way the courted Ike many moons ago. She will get to set the terms. I hope it's not pure political calculation on her part. Anyway, at least the incongruence between her words and her affiliation won't be an issue anymore. If she genuinely saw the light, great. He seems like a good man but money has a way of ending up in hands it was never intended to be in, especially after the person who bequeathed it is gone. I hope the wealth is put to good use. I like the sentiment though and I love that your store is closed on Sunday. We should devote at least one day to God and family. As a legal immigrant I can say with a very high level of confidence that you won't find a group of people more opposed to illegal immigration than those of us who came in through the front door and became part of the American fabric. I don't blame people for wanting to escape grinding poverty, but I cannot respect someone who doesn't respect the laws of my country. Democrats have gotten so used to the color of a person's skin dictating their voting habits that they have dropped all pretenses about being the party of the middle and working class and have just gone full-blown woke LGBT batsh*t crazy because they think people of color will never abandon their plantation no matter how Godless they get. There is an old adage that you can tell a lot about the character of somebody by the enemies they make. Governor DeSantis makes the right kind of enemies. This guy? He's one of the poster boys for squishy republicans. And he certainly came on a show that caters to squishy republicans. Fox is trying to get somebody, anybody, to get behind. They hate Trump, so they figured they would try to get behind DeSantis. They figured out pretty quick though that DeSantis isn't a Fox News kinda guy. They'll be floating trial balloons from now until Iowa. I get the feeling they are gonna go all in on Nikki Haley, at least initially. But you can tell how desperate they are to find someone when they trot this guy out. I dunno, maybe he plays in New Hampshire, but no way would a guy like him be a serious player in a national race. Cavuto would vote for him though and I'm sure he would get Mitt's endorsement. Maybe he can form a super-beta ticket with Larry Hogan or Mike Pence. I remember when obama told romney in 2012 the 1980s wanted its foreign policy back when he said Russia was the largest threat to American security. I'm not trying to defend romney, but the same argument could be made against biden and his 1970s talking points. As for understanding the founding documents and the intent of the founding fathers, joe biden is precisely what they tried to prevent when they set up the Federalist System. Trump fires up their base like no one else and will keep it within the margin of cheating in the swing states. That is my fear. Rumble may be okay for big guys with big followings but they are not as open-minded when it comes to their comment board. When Sidney Poitier passed away I saw more than a few comments from people who hoped he was burning in Hell alongside Betty White because they were not fans of Donald Trump. I thought the criticism was over the top and said so, pointing out that like me he was an immigrant who came here and worked his way up the American dream. Apparently that set off the crowd because my comment was hidden by Rumble due to low ratings from the peanut gallery. Five dislikes by the way gets your post hidden. If five people in their open-minded community don't like what you have to say, Rumble essentially gives you a time out. So much for the crowd who likes calling everyone else snowflakes. I got off Rumble and haven't been back since. All social media sites, including this one, are just echo chambers and very few people on either side are up for an honest discussion. So how do you regulate wealth and impose the caps you recommend? Sounds like you need a large, intrusive, apparatus to pull that off which is exactly what you get with a socialist system. Or will people just naturally give back what they have earned (or stolen for that matter) and say, you're right, we need to share the wealth in order to shrink the size of government, my bad? It sounds like you are railing against crony capitalism, which I agree is a problem, but to pin it all on capitalism is a false assertion. Plenty of people enriched themselves in the socialist paradises they were claiming to be working on while the average person starved or was imprisoned for asking uncomfortable questions about how the whole thing was supposed to work. I have mad respect for Dr. Carson but I disagree with him on black voters having their eyes opened. I have spoken with numerous black friends and colleagues over the years and while a handful seemed willing to vote for candidates other than democrats, most of them told me they would never vote for a republican, no matter what. The most common reason I got when I asked why was "my family always votes for the democrat." I asked, what if the democrat sucked? They told me they would simply stay home. Those roots run so deep that I'm not sure that bond will ever be broken. Republicans may move the needle a bit, but 20% would be the highest percentage of the black vote I could ever see a republican getting. Of course, the republicans don't help themselves by never going into black neighborhoods and actively recruiting the vote but the suits at the RNC are all about fund raising and if they don't think they can milk a group for money they tend to shy away from them. That's one of the reasons I tell people I hate the republicans more than the democrats. But that's okay. I'm a conservative so they hate me right back. As far as that school changing the name, Dr. Carson is 100% correct. That is politics plain and simple. Here you have a man who has accomplished great, historic things that have benefitted mankind but because he's not a democrat they can't have their kids looking up to him. Instead, they are lobbying political leaders in Washington DC to display a bust of Coleman Young in the Capitol Building. Coleman Young, the most divisive, crooked mayor in the history of Detroit who single handedly accelerated the demise of that city by 20 years. I know, I lived through it. When I saw what they were trying to do with that bust I almost threw up. That SOB should have gone to prison. Instead, he gets a statue while Dr. Carson gets his name scrubbed. What a city. 🙄

I may be in the minority but I'm happy these tyrants are nervous. I'm not calling for violence and I don't expect there to be any, unless it's on the part of the authorities. This isn't ANTIFA or BLM heading their way. If it was, they would be probably be pillaging and burning as they went along. You see this with all of these marxist great re-set types though. Call up the military or police to crush nonviolent opposition to their tyranny. They're Chinese masters have taught them well. My hope is that the young men and women of our military will not behave like the automatons of our northern neighbor and resist orders to trample people exercising their first amendment right to free assembly and redress of grievances. When I think of how close the governor's race was in 2018 and how close we came to ending up with that socialist from Tallahassee who likes doing lines of Coke off male hookers butts as governor of our state (40,000 votes), I tell ya the state and the country would look much different if Governor DeSantis had lost. My soon to be former representative Charlie Crist, the man who lies so much ne needs someone else to call his dog, is running against the Governor but he is so far behind it's laughable. I doubt the Governor will take Trump on in a primary and that is the country's loss. As for us Floridians, we are pleased as punch to have him but we cannot get complacent when his term is up. 40,000 votes is within the margin of cheating for the marxists. I'm not going to watch so maybe that makes me part of the problem. I've seen enough of this guy over the years to know he is a corrupt, not overly bright, crooked politician who has always been in over his head, even when he was young and knew where he was. And sorry Will, we stopped voting for president's based on their ability to manage world affairs a long time ago. We took a wrong turn when bush the first went on his new world order kick and things have gone downhill on that front ever since. Republicans are gonna win big but they better do something with it, something beyond a few hearings about the usual democratic shenanigans.
