  1. Cool stuff even if most of it is above my limited brain function. But here's the thing, and this channel has pointed it out, red dwarves are really crappy candidates for hosting habitable planets. I mean maybe some microbes and such because life does have a way of working things out but if you're looking for ET red dwarves are like that old song, looking for love in all the wrong places. When you get the sun-like problems sorted out and can work on those let me know. Not that we're going to have a conversation with our cosmic cousins in my lifetime, but as a child of Apollo I still have a bit of a soft spot in my heart for the federation. Live long and prosper kiddos.
