Judgement at Nuremberg (1961) is a great movie based on the "Judges Trial" of 1947. The film uses fictional names and there is some license taken to bring in subject matter from the Nuremberg War Trials but it is a powerful movie with some great performances delivered by some great actors. Sadly, like the trial itself this film, while recognized as a classic, has fallen through the crack of time. Most of my friends have never seen it and it rarely gets mentioned when people come up with great film lists. But it's a good one, one I highly recommend.

Well Herta didn't know how to build rockets or spy on the Soviets. I'm not making a judgement one way or another on her guilt or the punishment she received, just making a point that after the war, a lot of dirt-bags who should swung in Germany and Japan got off and even prospered because they were useful. But in the end, everyone is called to make an account of their life. That's what I believe and that's why Hell exists, people self-select to go there.
