  1. Stalin in 1938: "We're not gonna send Soviet boys half way round the world to do a job Asian boys ought to be doin for themselves." Funny thing is, Stalin reneged on his agreements with every country he dealt with except Germany. Germany was the only country he made a deal with that he kept. Birds of a feather I suppose.
