  1. I saw the first Indiana Jones movie in 1980 or whenever it came out and it was okay. That was the last Indiana Jones movie I spent money on. I don't do sequels as a rule because 99% of them suck. I'm sure Disney will woke this one up as well but the larger point is the American film industry is pretty much incapable of creating new stories that actually interest people. They give their phony-baloney awards to films nobody goes to see just to intentionally flip their fans the bird. A lot of artsy people are insufferable windbags by nature so it's no surprise Hollywood is starting to fall quicker than these Chinese balloons. I saw the commercial for this one and my first reaction was why? But, it will make money and Disney will then start pumping out Indiana June movies about some 120 pound girl who is able to beat the snot out of 250 pound men because of course she can, I am woman hear me roar. Bore or snore is more like it. Indiana June will crash and burn on her own and it will be the fault of the audience because of course it is. Then some movie about a trans man finding true love with a petunia will go on to win the best picture while interesting stories get rejected by the big studios. You saw what happened when they let the 20/30 somethings have a crack at Tolkien's masterpiece. They destroy and ruin because of course they do, and you better not point that out bigot. But hey, enjoy watching an 80 year old man jump out of airplanes and beat-up a bunch of 100 year old Nazi's because that happens all the time. I'm sure it will be a hoot.
