  1. They were anti-establishment/subculture until they became the establishment/culture. It's always about the pursuit and application of power. Put another way, it ain't no fun when the rabbit's got the gun but in our case we knew the nature of the rabbit but gave it the gun anyway. That's gonna be a hard one to explain to the grandkids when they are being packed into boxcars in the name of progress. And no, I'm not a tinfoil hat guy, furthest thing from it. But I am a student of the human condition and history. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, only nastier.
