I'm not a regular follower. If Matt has something to say on an issue that interests me I'll hear him out. Sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I don't, like anyone else. There are legitimate criticisms you can throw his way but not having the balls to speak out on a topic is not in that group. Matt is one of the bravest commentators out here because he has gone into the belly of the beast and attacked Satan where he lives. This tribalism on every side is grating. I support Governor DeSantis but I don't demand others to do the same and I don't engage in name calling with people who support another candidate. That's a big part of what got us into the mess we currently find ourselves in. If you take the time to get to know people on a live, one-on-one basis, not in this imaginary digital world where throwing around insults is like finding a jewel in a Super Mario Bros game you'd find you have more in common than you think and that you don't actually hate as many people as you are told to hate. If that fails, refer to the great philosopher Sgt. Hulka with the big toe and "Lighten up Francis."
