As for this whole danger to democracy bit, the last time I checked the commies in charge of the democratic party were the ones trying to curb free speech and sending goon squads from the FBI into the homes of people who exercise their first amendment rights by protesting abortion. The marxist storm troopers of the left are the ones burning cities to the ground. Wanna know what a democrat is up to? Pay attention to what he says you are up to. The media in the U.S. has lost all credibility and they don't even try to hide the fact that they are nothing more than an updated western version of Pravda. They aren't gonna lose, they are gonna get curb-stomped. But here's the thing. These wishy-squishy republicans better do more than run a couple of meaningless investigations into hunter and fauci. If they don't slap serious sanctions on the intelligence agencies and stop funding the democrats demonic platform the new voters flocking to their side this round will stay home in droves in 2024. I'm afraid that is what is going happen though. With the turtle running things in the senate and that half-a-commie from Kalifornia running things in the house the republicans aren't going to look that much different than the democrats. mcconnell doesn't even want the republicans to win the senate. He's past 80 now and just wants to steal as much as he can between now and 2024 and be left alone. The last thing he wants is to actually govern. As for mccarthy, the vision he set forth is so milquetoast it made me want to vomit. Who's going to stand up for America?
