This was one I wish I would have seen at the theater. I'm not really a racing guy but when this one popped up on Amazon I said what the hell and watched it one night. Then I watched it again. Then I bought it on Blue-Ray. For me, it was all about the interaction between Damon and Bale. Yeah, The Drinker is right about holes in the plot and some stuff being a bit contrived but the interplay between Shelby and Miles overcomes all of it. That fight seen on the lawn is epic! It's how you would expect two middle-aged guys a bit out of shape to tussle. I laughed my ass off when Matt Damon hit him with the loaf of Wonder Bread. Highly recommend this one. It's a race movie you don't have to be a race fan to enjoy!
