  1. Beautifully put. When I was a kid TV was chock full of heroes, from Superman to The Green Hornet. Even cartoons had heroes you could relate to like Underdog and Felix the Cat. Then things started to change. Our heroes came under attack. Green Hornet and Batman were cancelled and Superman was taken out of syndication because they said kids were jumping off roofs with towels for capes trying to fly. Even back then my friends and I laughed at that notion and said any kid stupid enough to jump off a roof got what he deserved. We were onto the whole Darwin Award thing before it was a thing. But you're right Drinker. We can't have nice things In today's hypersensitive world of beta males, fem-nazi's, and PC puritans. God help us.
