Thanks Drinker, I came for my daily fix and discovered you are doing a series. How cool! I will check in regularly because I can't seem to get my notification bell to work for this or most of the channels I subscribe to. But that's a conversation for another day. And thank you for exposing Creed for what it is. I watched it once and saw pretty much the same thing you did. Truth be told, once Rocky kicked Mr. T's ass the Rocky series was finished as far as I was concerned. Mick was dead and Rocky and Apollo were now allies. I figured that was far as I wanted to go. Rocky fighting the Soviets and Don King wannabe's just didn't do it for me. Same with Terminator. I liked 1 & 2 and 3 had the potential to close the loop properly but then they went and cast a pathetic loser as John Conner and made his future Mrs. the brains of the outfit. They were early adopters when it came to the whole I am woman hear me bore thing. And I stopped at three with Star Wars so I didn't see any of that mess. I guess in some ways I'm sort of like Ferris talking to the audience at the end of his day off when it comes to recycling iconic movies. Uh oh, I better watch my mouth before I give someone an idea for Ferris Bueller: the Next Generation. As always, your analysis is spot on. I've already shared this one Drinker and I look forward to the next installment.
