  1. I'm gonna see it this week because I like westerns and I'm okay with epics because when I was coming up they weren't outliers. It's an ongoing story so I'm okay with some things being unresolved and with a bit of disjointedness. I'll reserve judgement until I see how good a job part two does putting it together. Besides, it pissed off all the right people who were crying about Costner not glamorizing the noble Indian enough and not painting the white man as the devil. "This is 2024 for f-s sake they cry out." Okay, that alone will bring me in. We'll see how it goes but the trailer I saw in the theater a while back looked cool, the kind of film you want to see on the big screen. I mean, I know it's not Barbie but not every film can be a cinematic masterpiece for the ages.
